WDA offers Pilates, TRX, HIIT, Tabata, Total Body Barre, bootcamp and personal training.  Classes are small to give individualized personal attention; we care about your health and well-being.  We have designed our program to meet each and every one of your personal goals and look forward to helping you attain them.  Some classes occur during children’s dance times, so workout while your little ones are dancing. Complimentary babysitting is available for many weekday morning classes. Your first class is FREE!

Class Descriptions

Intro to TRX

TRX Suspension Training developed by a NAVY Seal leverages gravity and your body weight to perform tons of exercises that build power and increase strength, flexibility, balance and mobility.  You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise as you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.  Come learn how to use the this awesome piece of equipment and get every muscle in your body to work!
(Class is offered in 4-5 week sessions)


Fundamental Fitness

Check out all aspects of fitness at your current fitness level in this fundamentals class.  Class will introduce you to the TRX, Pilates principles, muscle conditioning, barre work, and high intensity interval training.  Class is great for beginners and anyone who wants to see all Core Fitness has to offer.  


TRX

Either body blast or circuit style!  Both classes burn calories, tone muscle, increase strength and endurance.  Fire up your core, hit every major muscle group and get ready to sweat with a total-body workout. Body Blast is done to the beat of the music & Circuit is a high intensity, interval and cardio training class with background music.


Pilates

The Pilates Method was developed in the 1920’s by German Athlete Joseph Pilates.  Pilates is a full mind/body conditioning method designed to tone, lengthen and strengthen your muscles.  Done correctly, this method can be a lifetime way of keeping your body in the best condition possible.  It is for all ages and fitness levels


Tabata

Get ready to sweat and get your heart rate up! Tabata protocol derived from Izumbi. Tabata is high intensity interval training of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest. This is repeated for 8 intervals. Your goal is to get in as many reps as you can during the 20 seconds. 


Bootcamp

High-intensity, full-body workout that targets your major muscle groups of the upper & lower body, specifically designed to make you sweat!  From circuit-style routines that jump-start cardio fitness, to creative muscle-toning exercises using dumbbells, kettlebells, TRX, battling ropes, or even your own body weight. Each class brings its own unique challenges an no two classes are the same! 


Total Body Barre

Work your entire body while you stretch, strengthen and elongate the muscles, toning the entire body from head to toe!  Focusing on your core and lower half, this class uses full extensions and lengthening moves, repetition and holds to work each muscle group.  The results are longer, leaner, stronger muscles.  This class will leave you feeling empowered, confident, and strong!


HIIT (High intensity interval training)

30 minute class to make you sweat and move!  4 rounds of super setting cardio and strength moves for 30 second increments.  Class ends with a round of core.
