Wilmington Dance Academy created a secondary track for dancers to train in an atmosphere of commitment and excellence. Secondary track dancers have not only shown aptitude in their technique classes and performance, but they have also demonstrated commitment to their training, dedication to their artistry, and displayed respect for their fellow dancers and instructors. This program is designed for the serious dancer who is on a pre-professional track or looking for strictly technique classes. The program runs all season and is part of our regular quarterly tuition.
Dancers that exhibit the qualities necessary to be successful in a more intensive training environment are invited to participate. Students enrolled in the secondary track are required to make a serious commitment to their training. Placement in the secondary track is based on technical level before age. Aside from documented injury/illness, students unable to maintain this commitment may forfeit their involvement in the program.
